GATE/SAS Coordinators and administrators will need school-wide access to MyData in order to access the Comprehensive Student History Summary Report when submitting GATE identification referrals or to send parents of notifications for students identified in the High Achievement/Specific Academic Ability Categories.
Out-of-the-classroom certificated staff and administrators should already have school-wide access.

Where do I find the Comprehensive Student History Summary Report in MyData?

Go to www.mydata.com

Log in with your LAUSD Single Sign On (SSO) username and password

Click on “Student Search” at the top

Enter the last and first name on the left of the page. Be sure to use all capital letters. Click “Go.”

Click on the Student ID number to access the report. PLEASE NOTE: You will need to turn off you “Pop Up Blocker” in your browser.

Click on links in blue to access further information such as CST scores, report card grades, Student Programs, etc.
What reports from MyData do I need to send home with the notification letter for newly identified students in the High Achievement/Specific Academic Categories?
Along with the notification letter, you will send home the Comprehensive Student History Summary Report showing a “Y” for Gifted and the Student Program report that shows the category.
What other information related to GATE is available in MyData?
You can monitor your schools GATE enrollment by ethnicity, grade, gender, and language classification by clicking “School” at the top, then choosing “Enrollment by Location.” On the left of the screen, choose “Gifted” for “Student Program” and click “Go” to disaggregate the data by the gifted students at your school.
CST scores are also available in MyData and can be disaggregated by gifted enrollment.
